Mel Perreault works across mediums including oil and ink paintings, tattooing and illustration. Drawing heavily from their research into Queer art and cultural histories, their work on paper and canvas is interwoven with imagery for ink in skin - subjects initially explored in a painting becoming flash and, eventually, tattooed.
